Today Morgan is nine. Nine seems so big. SO BIG. Nine seems like almost a little lady. But, we discovered that if you give a nine year old lots of cake and ice cream they resort to the not as mature behavior you are used to. Phew.We celebrated the evening with some homemade Teriyaki Chicken cooked by Aunt Becky, and a cake shaped like a barn with a "rock" path and farm animals scattered about. The front of the barn read "Morgan, est. 1998."
It was very cute and clever.
After the cake, presents and ice-cream we all hopped into my parents new hot tub. The girls giggled and splashed and before we knew it the night was started and bed times missed.
It was a fun night.
