I had to run to the grocery store on my lunch break to deposit my paycheck into our grocery store bank branch, and while I was there I grabbed some questionable Chinese lunch. Sometimes the only reason I get questionable Chinese lunches is for the fortune cookies. I always sneak two. There is something irresistible about fortune cookies to me, and one is never enough.
The first one today read:You will make many changes before settling satisfactorily.
In light of all the uncertainty in my job lately, I was a little less than pleased to read that one.
Screw changes, I say.
And then fortune number two:Remember three months from this date. Good things are in store for you.
