the rest of the story

So the rest of the story is simply that it was Simon's Birthday. Only the poor boy was stuck in a tie and ballroom for the entire day. The wedding was beautiful though, and I even gave a toast without vomiting or even blushing! All three of us girls had our hair done at a salon, and every one looked fabulous.

The next day we celebrated Christmas and Simon's birthday with Nathan's side of the family.
I don't know if I've told you, but Simon is obsessed with cows. Any animal larger than a dog is classified by Simon as a cow and he will argue his case till death if you try to tell him otherwise. 
As for Isla, things have been going up for her too. She has finally passed her birth weight and now weighs in at 8 pounds 14 ounces. I guess the goal is to gain an ounce a day and continue to go in for weight checks every Tuesday.
She is seven weeks old now, almost two months! Does she look bigger to you?
